Amazon announced that its AI assistant will integrate with Angi, Expedia, Square, and Yelp starting in 2026. These new partnerships allow Alexa+ to move beyond basic voice tasks.

Users will be able to book hotels, request home service quotes, and schedule personal appointments through voice-based conversations.

One Interface, Multiple Roles

Each integration serves a specific purpose. Expedia helps users to compare, book, and manage hotel reservations.

They can also share preferences in natural language. For example, a user may ask Alexa+ to find pet-friendly hotels in Chicago for a weekend trip.

The assistant can then surface tailored options. Angi supports home services and provides quotations for repairs or maintenance without visiting multiple websites.

Square enables appointment scheduling and payments with local businesses. This includes salons and other personal service providers.

Yelp adds local discovery. People can ask about nearby businesses, popular locations, or highly rated services.

Together, these integrations expand what Alexa+ can accomplish in a single interaction.

Alexa’s Partner Network

The newly announced services are not Alexa+’s first integrations. Amazon has already integrated Alexa+ with Fodor, OpenTable, Suno, Ticketmaster, Thumbtack, and Uber.

These services allow users to book tables, arrange transportation, and access entertainment options.

These links mirror a trend in AI. Chatbots such as ChatGPT have begun integrating third-party apps directly into conversational interfaces.

These systems aim to reduce friction by letting users complete tasks without switching platforms.

Amazon is applying the same idea to Alexa+. Instead of opening separate apps, users can ask Alexa+ to take action.

For example, a user can request an Uber or book a dinner reservation through OpenTable.

Alexa+ is designed to support back-and-forth dialogue, and there’s no need to phrase requests perfectly.

They can refine instructions as the conversation progresses. The assistant maintains context and responds accordingly.

This conversational flow is intended to make interactions feel more natural. It also reduces the effort required to complete complex tasks.

Early Usage

Amazon shared limited data on early adoption. According to the company, home and personal service providers have seen strong engagement from Alexa+ users so far.

Services such as Thumbtack and Vagaro were cited as examples. This suggests that users are more likely to rely on AI assistance for practical, time-sensitive needs.
