Apple has rolled out visionOS 2.4, bringing Apple Intelligence and fresh spatial experiences to the Vision Pro. This update enhances communication, creativity, and app discovery, all while prioritizing user privacy.

Smarter Writing with Apple Intelligence

The latest update introduces Writing Tools, making it easier to refine text in apps like Mail and Notes. Users can rewrite, proofread, and summarize content effortlessly. Users can also generate text with ChatGPT right from the systemwide Writing Tools.

  • Rewrite: Adjusts tone to be friendlier, more professional, or concise.
  • Proofread: Checks grammar, word choice, and sentence structure.
  • Summarize: Condenses content into key points.

Create with Image Playground and Genmoji

Apple Intelligence brings new ways to express creativity. With Image Playground, users can create unique images using different themes, costumes, and settings. This feature integrates into Messages, Freeform, and a dedicated Vision Pro app.

Another exciting addition is Genmoji. Users can generate custom emojis by simply describing them in text or speech. These can be used in messages, as stickers, or in Tapbacks.

Smarter Search and Custom Videos

Finding photos and videos just got easier. The natural language search feature in Photos lets users describe a scene to locate specific images.

With Create a Memory Movie, users can type a description, and Apple Intelligence will curate photos and videos into a compelling storyline. The feature automatically selects media, organizes it into chapters, and builds a narrative.

At launch, content includes exclusive stories from Red Bull, Cirque du Soleil, and Porsche. Users can also enjoy behind-the-scenes looks at Apple Originals like Severance and The Morning Show.

Apple Vision Pro App for iPhone

The Apple Vision Pro app for iPhone makes it easier to find new experiences. The app also stores ZEISS Optical Insert codes for users who need vision correction. Users can:

  • Browse recommended apps and games.
  • Queue downloads for Vision Pro.
  • Access tips and device information.

Enhanced Guest User Features

visionOS 2.4 improves Guest User mode, making it easier to share Vision Pro. Users can now:

  • Start a guest session using a nearby iPhone or iPad.
  • Control which apps guests can access.
  • Enable View Mirroring via AirPlay.

Exciting Apple Immersive Video Releases

Apple is adding new Immersive Video content. Upcoming releases include:

  • VIP: Yankee Stadium (April 4) – A deep dive into the legendary ballpark’s culture.
  • Bono: Stories of Surrender (May 30) – An intimate look at the U2 frontman’s life and journey.

Both will be available in Apple Immersive Video, delivering a stunning viewing experience.

Privacy-First AI with Private Cloud Compute

Apple Intelligence prioritizes user privacy. Most requests are processed directly on the device. When larger AI models are needed, Private Cloud Compute ensures data remains secure. No personal data is stored or shared with Apple. Independent experts continuously verify the system for security.

Availability and How to Get It

visionOS 2.4 is a free update for Apple Vision Pro users. Some features are region-specific. Apple Intelligence is in beta and available only in U.S. English for now.

The Spatial Gallery app is pre-installed in supported regions, while the Apple Vision Pro iPhone app arrives with iOS 18.4. Users can also book a free Apple Vision Pro demo at participating Apple Stores.
