Creating software training videos has always been a time-consuming and expensive process. Companies with multiple software licenses often struggle to produce high-quality instructional videos that keep employees engaged. Traditional training videos take entire teams to plan, script, record, and edit, making them a significant investment in both time and resources.
Tel Aviv-based entrepreneur Yoav Einav saw an opportunity to change that. Along with his co-founder Dan Sahar, Einav set out to find a better, more cost-effective way to create software training videos. Their vision led to the launch of Guidde in 2020, an AI platform that automates and streamlines video training production for businesses.
How Guidde Works
Guidde simplifies the process of creating training videos by leveraging artificial intelligence to automatically generate instructional content. Here’s how it works:
- The platform records a user’s activity within an application.
- AI transforms the raw footage into a structured video with a cohesive storyline.
- Users can enhance videos with AI-generated voiceovers in multiple languages, background music, and on-screen highlights.
- Built-in editing tools allow users to add motion transitions, adjust frame timing, and crop footage for a polished final product.
Do Employees Actually Watch Training Videos?
The effectiveness of training videos has been a long-standing concern. According to a 2019 Kaltura survey, 67% of employees admitted to skimming through training videos or only listening to them while multitasking. This highlights a critical issue: many training videos are neither engaging nor easy to find.
Einav believes the problem lies in both content quality and accessibility. Many corporate training videos suffer from poor production value and are buried in complicated interfaces, making them difficult for employees to locate when they need them most.
To address this, Guidde introduced “Guidde Broadcast”, a feature that delivers personalized, just-in-time training videos within an employee’s workflow. Einav describes it as a “Netflix for organizations,” designed to boost software engagement by serving relevant content at the right moment.

A Growing Demand for AI Training Solutions
Guidde’s innovative approach is paying off. The company has seen a fourfold increase in revenue over the past 12 months, now serving over 100,000 users across 2,000 organizations. Some of the company’s notable clients include American Eagle Outfitters, Carta, and Nasdaq.
This month, Guidde secured a $15 million funding round led by Qualcomm Ventures, bringing its total funding to $30 million. The fresh investment will be used to expand:
- Localization tools to support more languages and regions.
- Enterprise sales and customer success teams to better serve global clients.
- Market presence worldwide, increasing adoption across industries.
The Future of AI Generated Training Videos
Guidde’s long-term vision is to redefine corporate training by seamlessly integrating AI content creation with intuitive video delivery systems. “We believe the future lies in a solution that combines the creation and delivery of highly engaging AI-driven, video-first content,” Einav stated. “Our goal is to lead this emerging category and set the standard for intelligent, immersive content experiences.”
