Below Tier 8, Delves produce Veteran-track gear. At Tier 8, the weekly Great Vault slot flips to Hero-track. Above Tier 8, you’re earning more crests rather than better loot. For solo players or anyone who wants a competitive gearing path without coordinating a group, Delves are a serious option through the first half of the season.
Note: The new Nemesis system introduces a villain named Nullaeus who hunts you at higher Delve tiers. Several achievements tied to him are flagged as Season 1-only.
