Best AI Tools for Amazon and Shopify Sellers in 2026

A sales notification

Updated:October 14, 2026

In September 2026, Amazon let Seller Assistant run restocking and price changes even when sellers are logged out. Shopify’s Sidekick already takes action inside the admin. Selling on both platforms means juggling listings, ads, inventory, and email, and AI now lifts much of that load. However, most “best AI tools for Amazon/Shopify” lists mix general chatbots with e-commerce software. This guide does not, and every tool listed below serves online sellers directly.

We checked each claim against vendor, marketplace, or Amazon pages in October 2026. And where vendors hide pricing, such as Jungle Scout’s Cobalt, we say so.

Why These Tools Made the List

We used 5 benchmarks. First, each tool caters to e-commerce sellers directly; we excluded general-purpose assistants. Second, the AI must do actual work, such as forecasting, drafting, or acting on your account. Finally, each tool fits a clear platform or business stage.

  • Helium 10: It bundles research, keywords, listings, ads, and an AI agent under one login.
  • Jungle Scout: It gives small sellers and large brands separate paths.
  • Amazon Seller Assistant: It costs nothing extra and acts inside your account.
  • Shopify Sidekick: It needs no setup and works inside the admin.
  • Klaviyo: It syncs Shopify data in real time and offers a free entry point.
  • Prediko: It replaces inventory spreadsheets with AI forecasts.
  • Triple Whale: It combines AI agents with a free plan.

Best AI Tools for Amazon Sellers

1. Helium 10

Helium 10

Helium 10 covers Amazon, Walmart, and TikTok Shop. It bundles product research, keyword tools, listing help, and ads in one suite. Its AI agent, called Helium, diagnoses problems, surfaces opportunities, and recommends next steps. Helium 10 itself admits the learning curve is steep because you must master advanced research tools, complex data analysis, and customizable dashboards.

Helium 10 Ads also uses AI to manage Amazon campaigns. In addition, the Diamond plan includes an AI-enhanced Listing Builder. Helium 10’s pricing changed in 2026. Platinum costs $99/month, billed annually(or $129 monthly). Diamond costs $279/month, billed annually or $359 monthly. At $99 a month, Platinum feels steep for brand-new sellers. Still, it pays off if you use several modules regularly.

Skip Helium 10 if you only need keyword research. You would pay for a full suite and leave most of it unused.

2. Jungle Scout

Jungle Scout

Jungle Scout splits into two products, and its official pricing page draws the line by revenue. Catalyst serves new and growing sellers earning under $1 million on Amazon. It includes a product database, Keyword Scout, review automation, and AI Assist. AI Assist helps refine listings and decode customer sentiment. Its review analysis, for example, scans any ASIN and surfaces recurring themes you can use in product research.

Cobalt targets established brands and agencies. It offers market-level data across 19 Amazon marketplaces. Catalyst pricing is public. Cobalt requires a demo, so plan for a sales call. Jungle Scout says more than one million sellers and brands use its tools.

Sellers under $1 million in Amazon revenue should start with Catalyst. Cobalt only makes sense once your brand needs market-level reporting.

3. Amazon Seller Assistant

Amazon Seller Assistant

Amazon built Seller Assistant into Seller Central. Amazon says it costs nothing extra. It started as a question-and-answer helper. Now it reasons, plans, and acts with your permission. Amazon says it monitors inventory, flags account-health risks, and guides compliance paperwork.

On September 23, 2026, Amazon added background workflows. Tasks such as restocking and price changes now run continuously, with audit trails and seller-set guardrails. Amazon also launched a plugin that connects Seller Assistant to outside AI assistants. It is U.S.-only for now, and some connections remain in beta. Because Seller Assistant works inside Seller Central, it does not manage your Shopify store.

Use Seller Assistant if you sell on Amazon at all, since it adds no cost.

4. Shopify Sidekick

Shopify Sidekick

Sidekick lives inside the Shopify admin, and it helped set up my store. I uploaded a digital product, an E-book, and Sidekick helped me create a description and suggested a sweet spot pricing fair to me and my eventual customers.

Shopify Sidekick

It also gave me pointers on the frontend format and information for a seamless shopping experience. Thankfully, Shopify says its sidekick comes with your plan at no separate cost. Features and usage limits vary by plan, though.

Sidekick knows your store data and takes action in your admin. For example, you can request weekly summaries, pricing analysis, low-stock alerts, SEO product descriptions, or even help setting up your storefront.

In January 2026, Shopify added ShopifyQL queries for payments and web performance data. Sidekick also respects each staff member’s permissions. Because it centers on Shopify data, pair it with an analytics tool for cross-channel profit.

Open Sidekick first if you run a Shopify store and want quick answers without leaving the admin.

5. Klaviyo

Klaviyo

More than 117,000 brands use Klaviyo, according to its Shopify listing. The Marketing Agent reads your site and builds on-brand campaigns. Customer Hub gives shoppers self-service order help. Customer Agent adds AI-powered support.

Klaviyo offers a free plan, with email free for up to 250 contacts. Once your list passes 250, you start paying, and costs climb as your list grows. Pricing depends on your number of profiles and chosen features.

The Email plan costs about $20/month at 500 profiles, $30 at 1,000, and $100 at 5,000. Klaviyo also bills for every active profile in your account, whether you email it or not, so a stale list costs real money.

Klaviyo only pays off when email and SMS drive revenue. If you send occasional newsletters to a small list, a simpler email tool will likely cost less.

6. Prediko

Prediko

Prediko’s own case study on Healf, a UK retailer, reports an out-of-stock rate that fell from 4% to 1% in two months. That figure comes from the vendor, so treat it as a best case. This Shopify app forecasts demand by product, SKU, and season. It also manages purchase orders and syncs with Shopify in real time. Its Shopify App Store page shows nearly 200 reviews, and merchants highlight time savings. Pricing depends on revenue. Prediko is Shopify-first, so Amazon-heavy sellers may need another planner.

Prediko suits Shopify-first brands that still plan reorders in spreadsheets. If Amazon drives most of your revenue, confirm it handles your Amazon volume before you commit.

Best Cross-Platform Analytics Option

7. Triple Whale

Triple Whale

Triple Whale works best as your analytics layer. Its Shopify listing calls it an AI-powered ecommerce intelligence platform and claims more than 60,000 brands. Moby Agents automate analyses and flag issues. Moby Chat answers questions and builds reports.

A free plan, which I signed up for, allowed me to link my Shopify store for live and direct statistics for basic accounting. That data would influence key areas of the business like strategy and resource allocation.

Note: Triple Whale can also connect to other store platforms such as Amazon.

However, this data is limited. It doesn’t give details such as Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA), which tracks the entire customer journey across multiple touchpoints.

There are paid plans that provide much more detail. The pricing, however, increases with sales volume. Choose Triple Whale if you run paid ads and need clearer attribution, but expect to upgrade for the detail.

How Amazon and Shopify Sellers Should Build Their Tool Stack

Start with your biggest bottleneck. I think most sellers buy tools for features they never use instead of solving their actual daily pain points. Amazon-only sellers should pair Helium 10 or Jungle Scout with Seller Assistant.

Shopify-only sellers should begin with Sidekick, then add Klaviyo. If you sell on both platforms, combine one tool from each list. Add Triple Whale when ad data scatters across channels and add Prediko when stockouts hurt.

Keep your stack small. Overlapping tools waste money and create confusion. Meanwhile, free tiers let you test before you commit.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

Sellers often skip guardrails. Automation feels like relief, so they switch it on and walk away. Amazon’s workflows include audit trails and seller-set limits, so set those limits before you automate pricing or restocking.

Price scaling causes the most pain. Free plans and low entry costs hide the actual bill. Klaviyo pricing grows with your profile count, and Triple Whale pricing grows with sales volume. Therefore, model your costs at twice your current size.

Finally, speed tempts sellers to trust AI copy blindly. Tools like AI Assist and Listing Builder draft quickly. But you should still review every claim for accuracy before you publish.

FAQs

1. Do I Need Separate Tools for Amazon and Shopify?

Yes, for account management. Seller Assistant works inside Seller Central. Sidekick works inside the Shopify admin. Neither manages the other platform. Analytics is the exception: Triple Whale connects to both Shopify and Amazon, although its Shopify support is much better. That’s why most multichannel sellers combine one tool from each list.

2. Which Tools Cost Nothing to Start?

Many of them do; Amazon Seller Assistant carries no extra cost, and Sidekick comes with your Shopify plan. Klaviyo and Triple Whale both offer free plans. Limits apply, so read each plan’s details first.
