Anthropic is preparing for another major funding round and is reportedly raising $10 billion at a $350 billion valuation.
The Wall Street Journal first reported the news, and TechCrunch later confirmed it. If finalized, the round would represent a huge leap in company value.
Anthropic last raised capital just three months ago. That Series F round brought in $13 billion and valued the company at $183 billion.
And earlier last year, in March, Anthropic secured $3.5 billion at a $61.5 billion valuation.
As a result, the company’s valuation has nearly doubled in a short period.
Global Investors
Coatue Management and GIC are expected to lead the new funding round. GIC is Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund.
The Wall Street Journal cited sources familiar with the deal. And according to those sources, Anthropic could close the financing in the coming weeks.
However, the total amount may still change before the deal is finalized. Even so, the interest from large institutional investors signals strong confidence.
These firms typically invest only after extensive review.
Earlier Agreement
This funding round is separate from a recent $15 billion commitment involving Nvidia and Microsoft. That earlier agreement focused on infrastructure rather than direct funding.
Under the arrangement, Anthropic agreed to purchase $30 billion worth of compute capacity, which would come from Microsoft Azure and run on Nvidia’s chips.
The deal has been described as “circular” because the investment returns to partners through infrastructure spending. By contrast, the new $10 billion raise would provide fresh capital.
Claude Code

Anthropic continues to gain attention among developers. Much of that momentum comes from Claude Code, a tool designed to automate coding tasks.
Claude Code is powered by Claude Opus 4.5, the company’s latest model. Developers report that the tool helps reduce repetitive work and speeds up development cycles.
For smaller teams, the impact is often immediate. Engineers can focus on design and problem-solving instead of routine coding tasks. As a result, adoption has grown steadily.
This developer interest has become a key part of Anthropic’s appeal to investors.
IPO Discussions
At the same time, Anthropic is preparing for a potential initial public offering later this year. The company is expected to pursue an IPO alongside its main rival, OpenAI.
OpenAI is also exploring new funding. Reports indicate the company is in talks to raise as much as $100 billion. Those discussions include a possible valuation of up to $830 billion.
